DROMAKEENAN N.S. ROSCREA

OUR SCHOOL

Dromakeenan N.S. is situated in front of a grove on the Birr road Co. Offaly. It is a mixed school of about 240 pupils and 10 teachers. The sport the school takes part in is hurling. I am in sixth class now with 35 pupils in my class. In the morning we have Irish followed by maths and then a 10-minute break at 11-0 clock. When we come back in we do more boring Irish and Religion. At 12.30 we have our lunch and a break for 30-minutes. We sometimes play a hurling league of four teams. We go back in for English followed by history and geography to finish the day at 3.00p.m. After all that  we might have p.e. (Usually hurling), art, computers or singing practice for confirmation. Confirmation is like baptism but instead of our godparents answering questions for us we answer them for ourselves. Overall Dromakeenan N.S. isn’t bad. Why don’t all you people who visit this website visit Dromakeenan N.S?
